About

Technical work grounded in real systems.

I work across cloud infrastructure, networking, security, server administration, automation, and web systems.

I am Hamid Samadi, an IT and systems professional based in the GTA. I enjoy work that connects the infrastructure underneath a system with the tools and interfaces people use every day.

My project work includes Microsoft Azure, AWS, Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, networking, cybersecurity monitoring, Python, PowerShell, databases, dashboards, and web development.

I care about systems that are understandable and supportable: clear configuration, useful monitoring, careful testing, straightforward documentation, and an obvious next step when something goes wrong.

Hamid Systems is the name I use for this portfolio and my independent technical projects.

Working approach

How I approach technical work.

Understand the environment

Identify the goal, dependencies, current state, constraints, and likely failure points first.

Build for supportability

Prefer clear configurations, useful status, sensible defaults, and repeatable operations.

Verify and document

Test the expected path, check edge cases, and leave evidence and steps another person can follow.
